Gas pizza ovens are far easier to operate than wood-fired pizza ovens. With a gas pizza oven you literally turn it on, let it heat up, put your pizzas in and watch them cook away. When you're finished enjoying your pizzas just turn off the oven. What you don't get with a gas pizza oven is the smokey flavour that wood fire oven gives. To some people the difference in flavour is minimal and the ease of gas wins. If you want an oven for baking and an oven that can go to higher temperatures than a domestic household oven, typically a gas pizza oven can go up to 400-500C which is several hundred degrees more. Here's a selection of the best gas pizza ovens available.
