Spitfire Gold – New Generation 29 By Valoriani
The Spitfire Gold is a commercial-grade gas burner to suit Valoriani wood fire ovens. Like all Valoriani products, the Spitfire is made in Italy and is of the highest quality. Developed and designed in collaboration with important Pizzaioli, it perfectly reproduces wood-burning cooking. The Spitfire Gold heats the cooking surface of your oven up to 400-450ºC and it keeps the temperature uniformly distributed on the surface, contrary to wood burning that can obstruct the spread of heat because of ash. The use of a gas burner it also facilitates cleaning as you don’t need to remove wood ash.
Spitfire gold is the only burner AGA approved for Australia (Approval #8191).
The Spitfire Gold Gas Burner is Type A approved with the Igloo 120, Igloo 140, GR120 and GR140 which means no Type B certification is required upon install like many other gas appliance pizza ovens. Type B certification can cost anything between $1,000 and $3,000 which ARE NOT REQUIRED on this gas burner like some alternative burners on the market provided this burner is installed in the Valoriani ovens.
